How it works, plainly.
MobileCoin
MobileCoin is a digital currency built for everyday transactions. Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum, MobileCoin transactions are private by design — amounts and participants are not visible on a public ledger. Transactions settle in seconds, not minutes, and cost nothing to send. It was designed by cryptographers who believed that privacy is a fundamental requirement of money, not a luxury feature.
End-to-end encryption
When you create an invoice in Fire Invoice, your client's email address, your wallet address, and your line items are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before they reach our servers. We store only the encrypted form. Our team cannot read your invoice data. No analytics platform can access it. Even in the event of a server breach, your data remains encrypted and unreadable. The decryption key exists only in your session.
Zero fees
Traditional payment processors charge a percentage of every transaction because they sit between the sender and recipient — they provide the infrastructure and take a cut for doing so. MobileCoin eliminates the middleman entirely. Payments move peer-to-peer across a decentralized network. There is no middleman extracting a percentage, so there is no fee beyond a fraction-of-a-cent network cost.
